paint code 202... Wow, I thought all Lexus's, regardless of color, had a clear coat shot on them. Learn something every day.

Looks good. Definitely keep us posted with performance mods. I am under the impression that our VVTI engines aren't that modable. Not as much as the pre 98s anyway.

Love the blk/blk.

They are very moddable...Just exceptionally expensive and everything is a one-off. But, it can be done. Look on Extreme and see what the Aussies have done.

Pm me a link. Extreme, leads me to everything but vvti mods. I already found a company that made cams and all types of things for the pre 98s. That was before I bought my 98. I got lucky, because I didn't know about the VVTI being a 98-00 option when I found my current car.

If I could find cams and maybe even a stroker kit, I'd spend the money.

He likely means LEXTREME.

Zulu,
How many miles on your car? Has the timing belt/water pump been done? If not, put that on the top of the spending list. Your motor is interference. If you snap a timing belt, it's likely over for that motor. The V8 VVTI is hard to come by if this happens.
