Default License plate lights

Just bought a 95sc400 with 134k on the clock (pics will be up later)

only thing that was wrong was the license plate lights dont turn on, changed bulbs...still nothing. checked the main fuse box on the drivers side and noticed a couple fuses missing, but they were for "Trac" and the sunroof i believe (that my car doesnt have)

is there another fuse box etc that i should be looking in for the license plate fuse etc?

thanks

Check continuity to the wires. Remove the bulbs, turn the switch on, put an autometer to it. If you don't get anything there then there is a short in the wire somewhere. I'm not for positive where those wires feed from but it could be as easy as tracing the wires back to the brake lights somewhere.

There is no specific fuse for the license plate lights as far as I know.
