$3500 sounds about right, I would ask 4k though.

Car looks really well taken care of, but the newer the better on SCs.

I just sold my a few days ago for 4450. Mine was a 95 with 137k miles. I had just had a lot replaced including the timing belt and water pump. I also had every maintenance record including the original window sticker. The guy had it checked out by Lexus and they said it needed a new battery and something else but that it was just general maintenance. The problems were, cracked windshield, ripped drivers seat, needed 2 new rear tires, and the paint bad in different areas.

Maybe that can give you an idea. I live in Arizona so the paint issue is more common that Missouri. Youve got a nicer color so Im sure you can find someone easier. I would check out autotrader and it should give you a good idea of the prices in your area.

with that said, i'd list your SC for at least $6.5k. It's a more reliable car and and a Lexus will attract people who have money. I've sold over 20 cars in the last 3 years, and I've got what I've asked for all of them. I am usually flexible for $500 less than what I ask. the only downside is that it's a 92, but a lot of people will look over that if the car looks newer than it is and has been kept up.
Ive got to agree. The biggest thing that let my sc400 down was the paint and the color. Mechanically it was perfect. In England I bought a car off ebay that was really cheap. I threw some deep dish alloys on and drove it around for a couple months and sold it making over 1k profit. It had no service documents and I never changed the oil. I had so many people interested and Im sure it was just the color and wheels that made it attractive. I think a lot of people are concerned if the car looks good more than anything else.

man, i really wish people in my area would sell their SCs in the 4k range.

everyone here sells them for 5 or 6 plus. and they sell.

so idk, i'd say 5k. nice car btw.
