Can someone please take a pic of 97+ lamp failure ECU circuit board?
I'm having an odd issue with my lamp sensor. My parking lights and taillights stay on all the time when the ignition is on. I took the tailight relay out and they still stay on. I took the taillight fuse out and they still stay on. I disconnect the lamp failure ECU and the lights turn off. The lamp failure ECU gets power from the 10amp gauge fuse in the driver's side kick panel.
I took the lamp failure ECU apart and checked it out. To my surprise, I found pieces of loose solder floating around between the circuits. I looked at the back of the circuit board and it looks like the solder "melted" and is making contact with other points where it shouldn't be. I know the problem is with the ECU but I would like to confirm it before I try to find another.
A couple pictures of my ECU:
