how is it dumb? 2jz parts and R&D are done. everything is at your fingertips, which is why its a great choice, now your talking about is350 parts and is-f nonsense. VERTEX isnt a aftermarket engine parts producer so why spend your budget on a engine that has no aftermarket support? didnt you learn anything for HKS altezza build. the company was up in arms over that damn car becuase it was a very complex and long build, vs the HKS s15 that taniguchi did so well in. they need to pick there battles and i think its a great choice on the platform and motor that will be in the car.

It is sad to see this happen. That car was my inspiration for a long time. I hope they put it in a museum and dont sell it. I think his soarer was like the first big car to drift professionally wasn't it?

Ueno owns 30-35 cars. he has multiples soarers as well as nissan ferrari's etc.

i doubt it will be cut up or disposed of.

I'm sure his move to the Bimmer is purely for business...broader platform and more sponsorship. And for once I'd like to see him win...drifting a Soarer is not easy, and he makes it look like piece of cake.

I dont think he's a bad driver,is just very difficult to control a car with that much power when you are limited on tire width choices....same issue the high hp IS300 owners have
