Well, crap, how do I get that? Seems to solve all problems that everyone seems to have in putting updated systems in our vehicles. Im sure im missing something or there is a good reason but I havent come across this in any discussion yet.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Looking good Chrono. Where did you get the e-brake boot from? Also, are you going to upgrade the dash kit since Metra makes a double din kit now?

Got the boot from Ebay. When you buy one, make sure to specify you want a US-spec boot.

I will definitely buy a Metra kit, but it seems like most of the online retailers are unable to source it due to scarce availability.

you should really gut whats left under that shifter so the boot is not all bunched up.

'The UZZ31 and UZZ32 Soarers were the luxury GT versions of the range, with substantially more features and equipment than the 6 cylinder models and the Lexus SC300/400. The EMV (Electro Multi Vision) touchscreen system which was pioneered in the Z10 and Z20 Soarers was again available and provided a screen with television, GPS navigation, diagnostics, car computer, reversing camera and touch control of all functions of the climate control and sophisticated 7-speaker (with subwoofer) balanced-signal audio system with 12-disc CD stacker and digital signal processing.'

Lexus shortchanged you guys in North America!

man that looks really nice. Is there a DIY you could explain. I would be interested in doing something like this as I am also looking into shifter that I can work with. It would be nice to do something like this and then then drop in a new shifter and cut the shaft. It would really change the look of the car, until I do the v160
