i don't see what's wrong. The oem sc400 lip is way over priced for what it is anyways. Go for it.

By the way, I'm doing this custom lip. I was thinking about going with the sc400 lip, and extending it so that it fits my 97 bumper. Come to think of it, I think this so-called home depot lip looks way better. Also, what is this called?

The previous owner of my car had the home depot lip. To me it just don't look right and it made the car look cheap.

For you guys' information, there were more people asking me what brand the lip is than telling me that lip is ugly. Better yet, no one told me it was ugly in person. I'm an M. engineering that likes to fabricate my own things to better perform what's in the market. And just so you know, my SC is my track car, I have couple other cars/bike for DD. So, dont' hate it because you envy it, just get it if you want it.

Hey bud just do you pay no attention to some people here, if you told them Greddy or someone else made the lip they will be all over it but because you got a little creative and did it yourself using home depot supplies they knock it. CL cookie cutter frame of mind FTL.........

My SC400 is missing the front lip. What are they buying from home depot to make one. I priced it at Lexus for over $300 dollars for a piece of plastic....

damn..i'm already done(took less than 1 hour) but to bad i don't have a camera w/ me..doesn't look that bad at all if you ask me, doesn't look professionally of course but it'll work for me, just a little worry how it'll handle while driving on the interstate it's not stiff enough and a little to wobbly. the only part that took long was cutting the top piece off, you'll know what i mean when you get it. btw it only cost me $9 for a 20' piece at Home Depot...
