Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The estimate to get the passenger side fixed was $345 plus tax. I was able to get a Lexus part shipped for $112. The pictures are worth a thousand words and you made it easy enough for a girl to do!

4 hours into this repair and the new regulator does not go in
the old one came out fine though we really had to hammer those top two bolts (not the disc bolts that hold the metal horizontal slider to the glass) but the two screws fixed to the frame of the top of the regulator
we compared the parts, they are the exact same length, its the right part
the window is all the way up and its simply impossible to position the new regulator high enough to where the three bolts that hold it are high enough to match the boltholes (the motor fits fine)
oh well typical repair for me. i cant even change a light bulb without costing myself thousands of dollars

is there a way to test the regulator/motor before installing it in the door? My regulators good,. the motor supposedly went bad. If I plug the window switches in and the motor in to the wiring clips, the window switch lightsup and if I press it down, I hear the regulator tighten slightly but the cable doesnt get less tense. I cant get the damn white plastic track on the vertical beam down so I can fit this thing back onto the window and onto the frame, the plastic slider its stuck all the way at the top of the track and the swtich wont lower it...
plus in the guide, he shows the window is drpped a couple inches when he's reinstalling the regaltor - how the hell do you get the three regulator frame bolts to line up -- regardless of the window position?
