Great write-up! Pretty much the same steps I used when I replaced my driver's side. Becareful with the step shown in pic 19 as mine came undone while trying to put it on. It was nothing short of a PITA to get the threads back the correct way. Anywho, good job on the DIY!

Great write up. I really appreciate people who take the time to do these. I have a question you could probably answer. What size are the front and back speakers? I see yours a re aftermarket so I figured you would know. Thanks

I TRIED AND TRIED TO SEARCH AND I FOUND ONLY SHORT DESCRIPTIONS ON HOW THIS PROCESS SHOULD BE COMPLETED.....i figured id make other ppls life easier and take piXS with description!
this is my past weekend project!!! to some this might come handy i hope-- i would take almost every pic possible to remove and dissasemble the door with reg. and motor.
total time: driver side was first: 58 minutes
passenger door: 24 minutes!!!
this is not a very difficult replacement and if you follow my steps (21 pictures)
you will not have any problems at all. feel free to pm me with any questions!
i dont believe there is a stupid question like some ... there is only a stupid answer
tools needed:
flat head and phillips screwdriver
your hands
14mm tool.
GOOD LUCK!

I have one as well (passenger side). I assume it's pretty common, also have them on each side on the bottom window sill. The driver side has been there as long as I have owned the car, the passenger side started developing this past summer. The speaker one just developed about 2 weeks ago, much to my dismay. =\
