Buy the one from Gazi...It is factory OEM, you do not have to cut out any holes to fit it, the OEM is a one piece carpet, not a two piece, Gazi's shipped price is cheaper, and he only sells quality parts...

Dude, cool off...I meant no Dis towrds your suggestion...I was in fact quite impressed that you even knew about that alternative...I also think it was quite helpful of you to do so. After reading the info on the carpet, I just felt the OEM used and in good shape was a far easier and better deal for him...

Nothing wrong with used carpets. Most of them just need a good cleaning and they can look brand new.

Bleaching your carpet would probably ruin it. Try OxyClean. I used that and it worked well, and it will not damage your carpet.

Dyeing your carpet black will make it look a shade of purple.

Curry,

I use Simple Green (great stuff for cleaning an engine) but how do you "power wash" the carpeting?

Gazi, how often do you come across black carpet? I'd imagine it's not often, I may have to just custom do the job.
