Default My SC300 to add to the mix....

Just thought i'd post up some pixs of my sc and its mod list.

Mod List:
MSP/Justice Race Engines Built 3.0lt (2JZ-GTE).
Ported and Polished, Milled Head.
MSP Street Intake Manifold
GSC Stage 2 Cams.
BL Single Turbo Kit with HKS 60mm GT WG w/4" MP/DP w/HKS Ti Exhaust.
PTE-78GTS-DBB w/.96 AR Exhaust Housing.
BL Fuel with PTE 1230cc Injectors.
Carbonetics Triple Disc 1350kg Clutch Kit.
Greddy 3Row FMIC.
AEM EMS.

{Btw, the car has a V160 Swap, Supra 6spd Rear End and Supra TT Brakes).

Pictures:
How it started out..as I tore it down:

Delivered to Cherplex!

Added some bling to the mix:

New Motor is in:

All done:

Ready to kick ****!

The car is all done & running with the expection of me installing some hangers on the exhaust and slapping the back seat back on. Then I have to do the 600 mile break in on the clutch and then time to strap her down to the dyno and try and hit my goal of 950-1000rwhp.

I wanted to give a special thanks to Sherwin aka Cherplex for helping me out with my questions and headaches dealing with wheel fitment his suggestions landed me the perfect fitting fikse FM5s. And also it was great not having to advertise my USDM 2JZ-GTE Motor since he was ready to purchase.

WW Nice. Great pictures of the progress, I wish to do the same on my SC. Does everything work in the car, or were some things lost with the swap?

pretty badass setup.

I thought a 2.7l and a to4r lagged...Is this a street car?

I think your 3 row IC will be quite restrictive for you setup.

Thanks everyone!

And Thanks Sherwin for being a great friend with the whole sha-bang... all those late nights of me working on this thing hopefully pay off.

Thizzle: Once the clutch is broken in and i'm comfortable with everything I plan to make a few passes, I have a drag package sitting in the garage awaiting it. I think at full tilt the car should easily go mid 9s if i'm able to pilot it, I came from owning a supra that went 10.0s and drag racing for 5 years; so i'm sure it won't be hard.

fwynn, Baoser: Thanks!

Fireblaze: Everything works as its suppose to, only thing I need to do is recharge the ac. IMO if I had to do it again I would build and boost the GE and drop in a getrag with 6spd rear and call it a day.

Thanks.

It is a street car, turbo should hit full boost by 5200rpm easily. Lag is overated.

3Row will be perfectly fine, I have a friend making 1101rwhp on his supra running a 3row w/o a problem, running 9.30s @ 156mph w/o a hiccup.

Only in my dreams....

That car is sleeper status too, if someone tries to hit you up, they're gonna be eating dust... YES!

Lag may be overrated, but not on a street car. At a stop light to be at 90% throttle just to keep up with the camry next to you on a green light is not fun.

And sure you can be okay with a 3row, but it would still cause a lot of restriction through higher rpms and will create a lot of heat. You will definitely pick up at least 20hp by upgrading if not more.

Just giving you personal experience. Anyways, love the car.

I didn't build the car to do light to light racing, the people I hang with mainly do all hwy pulls so thats basically what the car was built for, lag is the least of my worries...if it becomes that big of an issue i'll just set the 2 step up on the aem and that will take care of that in the launch dept!

If I wanted a fast spooling turbo then I would have have kept the 67DBB Turbo I sold to 1JZ300, but that obviously isn't what i'm after.

I wanted to make what I have work, its not worth me dishing out $1800 for a 4row FMIC to gain 20rwhp, it doesn't add up apples to oranges IMO, but thats just me. Thats my personal experience from being and owning a supra for the last 6 years.

I'm not trying to turn this into a pissing match so thanks again for the compliment BTW.
