Supra Strut Bar fits SC300??
As title stated, I did research them and some people say that I need washters / spacers to get it fit... and some people just stated that I should get SC300 strut bar... Some People say that I need Supra TT strut bar and some people say that I need Supra N/A one... And I am confused... I just want people who actually have supra strut tower bar installed on their SC300 to answer this question.... Please do not say... search first... since I did search b4 posting this post....
I know it would be better to get just SC300 strut bar, it is just pricy... like 200...
Second question would be, what about the Supra rear strut bar??? would it fit SC300???
Thank you in advance for your time and your cooperation!!!

To answer you're question. The TT bar You just need a few washers to clear the 2JZ-GE intake throttle body. Price wise really if you're paying $200 for a STB make sure it is gonna fit and not some heap Chinese made part that might flex under stress. Yes I have seen it happen. And as far as the Supra Rear STB. No it will not fit. If you open you're trunk and pull down the ling against the back seat you will find you're rear strut mounts and the gas tank. The bar would have to bend over the tank to fit. I'm not positive that this would be rigid enough to reduce chassis flex left to right. But if you really want one I have seen rear bars on Ebay if you wanna look for it.

My bad let me restate what I was saying. The TT rear STB will not fit the SC but.... some company does or did make a rear STB for the SC that looked like some hot garbage.

Been trying to get the decent answer for this question probably for a month.. Looked through the forum. All the possible combinations on google. Couldnt find a cheap setup anywhere. So decided to experiment .
I have 1997 sc300 with 2jzge
Bought this strut bar Tanabe TTB012F for Toyota Supra 1993-1998
Ordered from amazon 60$ shipped.
After reading some other peoples review decided to order Reinforcement Rings Also
Toyota Part:
REINFORCEMENT, FR SP
Part NO.: 53723-24012
http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...723-24012.html
Dont worry it will fit sc300 even though it says its for supra only.
Well let me tell you...
installed it today...
Perfect fit... Didn't have to bent anything. No modifications done to the car.
Now i see that Reinforcement ring was extra 45$ spent. Could have installed it without those.Even though it adds extra durability to your suspension.
So for guys on budget like me... ideal solution for 60$ only...
And dont you worry about reliability of Tanabe... Had some other products from them... never was disappointed... the stur is very solid. Off course not as solid as 200$ one but hey, its 140$ difference...
Let me tell you i felt the difference right after the fist turn. It feels like i gained about 25-40% sensitivity from the steering wheel. Much sharper than it was before, less flimsy...
The only problem that i came across... for some reason the Tanabe logo was inverted facing the windshield... tried everything its just the way it is... Other than that... Happy Happy Happy
Next mod is going to be Supra Back Sway bar... little harder to find and install but now the car is just asking for a sharper suspension at the back...
