Yeah, I wouldn't, although it would probably look decent on your car. I would probably put the money into something else. I think I've seen some older Hondas and Acuras that had gold trim around the windows and I thought it looked nice with their gold package. I might change from gold to silver eventually but the gold does look nice with my color, though, just was wanting to put as much silver (emblems, clear lights/bulbs) on my car to make the car appear more silver-looking and lighter.

There are guys that do a electro gold plating proccess with the emblems/trim right on the car. Many dealers used to have this done to the emblems on brand new cars but it was more a late 80's early 90's fad. I am sure the guys that do it can still be found, if not you can buy your own electro-plating set up with gold for under $500 and the DIY. Then you could go around to shows and plate on the spot. Thats where I used to see the people that did it. Harley events are a good place to scope for these guys.
I did notice Mr T has a new show so maybe its a sign that Gold is coming back.
