Hey guys.
I'm looking into a set of wheels that are 18x8.75 +20 or 35? front and 18x10.25 +20 rear. I'm looking for a stance similar to that of bigwes. Not looking to stretch the tires or tilt the wheels or any of that. Just want a nice flush look with adequate sidewall without having to do heavy fender mods. I also intend to drop my car 1 inch overall from stock height when my coils come in next week. What size tires would you recommend? I'm a complete newb when it comes to this stuff.

I've been reading multiple documents regarding the wheels offset spec. I still do not understand completely.
Offsets: The stock offset is +50mm.
- Why is the smaller number (+30mm) make the wheel stick out more?
- Is the number measuring from the inside edge of the wheel toward the hub mounting surface? For example +50 mean: From the inside of the wheel toward the mounting hub is = +50 (more) which make the wheel more toward inside. If it is +30 (less), means the wheel "pushes" toward outside more.
Rim size: 18x9; offset +44; tire size 245/45/18
- What is the meaning of # 9?
- I know 18 is the size of the wheel
- 245 is the width of the tires
- 45 is the height from the edge of the rim to the edge of the tire.

Sorry to do this, but to continue on from drareg & boergy, those are the closest I can find to what I'm going to run.
I've got these on the way for my 97 SC300
F: 18x8 30
R: 18x9 35
On stock suspension/ride height.
I'm not looking to roll / shave etc. or lower it , just want to keep her stock.
Will I rub with
F: 235 40 18
R: 265 35 18

I'm looking to run a meaty setup for the spring, but my current wheels are too aggressive. So my question is, what offsets would I need to run 18x9.5 front with a 265 tire, and 18x10.5 rear with a 305 tire and no camber? My guess would be in the 30-40 range for the rear? Fenders are rolled flat, Thanks.
