Well...
Thinking about Tiens but not sure. Haven't really decided. I am putting everything on in the summer but ready to buy wheels and tires now. Going to get supsension next and put it all on. I have a few other things i'm about to order to compliment but not rice it up.
A firm believer in beauty in simplicity.
I've contacted Volk and other places across the US and they have been pretty consistent with the offsets. Not sure if what you say will work. See i am going with Supra TT brakes thus my offset delima. Dag i have a lot of crap to order lol.
Have any pics of that kind of setup with offsets? Just curious.

One thing I think should be added to the information in this thread .....
It's likely that aftermarket wheels will need spigot rings to fit correctly on the SC's hubs. One of the Australian Soarer Club members suffered snapped wheel studs because the rings were missing. If you buy new wheels the spigot rings should be supplied, but are they there if you bought used wheels or a used car? They were certainly missing on my Soarer ......

I would guess that a "spigot" ring is better known as a hub centric ring on this side of the pond. Thanks for that info as well.  Much appreciated.

As you can see it needs bigger tyres on the rims!
Handling is very balanced and doesn't tramline due to the correct offsets, I track the car so that's more important than looks to me

I said "no offence." I can't helpt it that most people unknownly buy poor fitting wheel that are super sunk and look like crap. That's why I'm here to guide people in the right way of doing these as far as wheels. Most people are clueless of offset or even if they know what it is choose weak offset and don't know any better. I"m just trying to stear people toward the right direction.

What people like has to do with many factors man. It starts with perception. How you "perceive" things such as your life, your money, and other influences will direct your choices. What i'm saying is he might have chosen this set up for a particular reason. It might have suited him personally and that's what he liked.
Yeah we can all judge others but what does that really say about you man? Think about it cause the world would be pretty boring if everyone was exactly the same or had the same styles and tastes. Just keepin this short, simple and to the point.

In style Yes but as far as poor wheelfitment most people end up the w/ what they end up with cause they simply don't know any better. I'm pretty sure most peole don't buy wheels saying. I want these wheels to look like crap and to be super sunk into the fender. They often times like the style and the diameter of the wheel but as far as the wheel sitting the way it should to look optimal they are not familiar with. Thats why I am trying to help others on here to make it look like the way it should look.

There is no rule on how a wheel should fit in the fender. Everyone has different tastes and tolerances. Having the wheels flushed with the fender is one way. I personally like this too but I don't think any more or less of people who don't like or want it this way. It is one thing to say "If you want it to sit flushed, you can get the following offsets" vs "Your wheels are not flushed and look like crap." The first statement passes no judgement and offers info. The second just cause animosity and get people on the defensive.

You are right in that not many people has a full understanding of how offsets affect the wheel fitment. It is great that you can lend a hand but please be aware that not everyone will need (not necessarily want) the wheels to fit the way you personally like them to.
