I am sure he does know stuff about suspension and wheel set up but he is not the only one and yuo cant really tell people what set to run on your cars, just worry about your own cars. As for running from cops, his driving skills are not that great and he is an idiot for doing it. And NiteKids? Come on now, you have to be little original than that.

I'm considering going w/ G-35 offset on Volks GT-C
Face 1 19x8.5 (+27) 55mm lip 2.165 inches
Face 2 19x9.5 (+24) 73mm lip 2.874 inches
because the recomended spec for a SC seems to conserative??

You could run +24 up front in a 10J and +19 in the rear with an 11J if you roll and pull the fenders slightly. That's exactly wha I'm doing. The great part about the front is that's the big caliper disc so there's ton of room for supra brakes up there.

This is 18x10 offset 24 on hks hipermax II coilovers, rolled fenders with brembo bbk. (plenty of gap between calipers and wheel) No rubbing under normal and drifting conditions. I lower more when i go drifting, pic is taken while normal driving.

nice brakes
would this still apply to 19" rim versus a 18"
due to the changing of offsit as the wheel gets bigger??
please give your imput...
thanks
Sam

I've been searching through this thread and couldn't find any solid information on 17" rims. I have a chance to buy a set of used Work rims. They are 17x8 and 17x9, both with +35 offsets. How will these fit (if they even do). Will they be tucked in or flush and will there be a need for fender mods with a 1" drop on the SC?

Also, will these specs clear a TT brake upgrade or does it depend solely on the design of the spokes? Thanks for any information.

well, the width and offset won't change much from everything posted up until this point unless you're running 19" or larger wheels...the tires become like rubberband thickness at that point so stretching them for clearance isn't as easy.

those wheels will fit but will be tucked...brake caliper clearance has more to do with face/spoke type than offset or width and that varies between each model wheel. (though, that setup sounds conservative enough that my guess is you won't have any caliper clearance issues)
