Default Some fresh pics, cleaned the headlights, some Vegas meet pics as well...

so, after winning me a set of HID's from mobilehid.com at the Vegas meet, I decided to go and clean up my headlights... while I had them apart, I decided to partially de-line them, paint the interior body color (a-la corvette), and give them a great cleaning...

here's the results:

and here's a couple pics of her from the Vegas meet:

hmm...could you have polished up the lenses any more? Still looks kinda foggy...

I think the reason why the Vette headlights work is because the lens is entirely clear...

I'm on the edge, i'm not sure which look i like better on your car...

honestly, I think I am going to buy a set of messed up headlights and rob the lenses... I want to de-line the whole thing, but there's just not enough time in a weekend to do it right... as it was, I spent almost 2 hours per light - They are polished as good as they are going to get right now - started at 400 grit sand paper and went all the way to 2000, then polished them with Meguiars plastic polish...

as far as the red versus black lights, I personally like the red better already... but the black wasn't bad...

no clue on the HID's yet... they didn't know who was going to win the deal, so they just brought coupons... they should be in the mail soon, and I'll update with pics then...

the headlights look much nicer though

they are the absolute best street tires I've ever driven on... they grip exceptionally well, they are relatively quiet, they have good wet weather performance also... they also seem like they are going to last around 30k miles with an aggressive alignment even...

there are better wet tires, there are better traction tires, there are quieter tires, but these have been the best of all worlds for me, and I've driven on almost every tire made...

I will admit though (as I like to try new things) that next time I'm going to do Bridgestone RE050's... I can get a good deal on them (as I can the BFG's), but I want to try something new, and I really like everything I've heard about them...

and thanks, btw

Cody, you wasted no time getting to work on those head lights.
The meet was great and the canyon drive was even better
Great pics.
