i got my cabin filters in today. there are two, two part filters and since none where there originally, I cant figure out how they go in. when I put one in, it just floats around loosely. any help would be great, thanks!

there's a pocket for the first one to slide to the side...then you just you slide the other one up

what year did the Sc's start getting cabin filters?

i dont thnk my 92 has one.. or does it?

I have a 93 but mine has the filters missing. Is this bad for the car?

i think they all have cabin filters, but none of the american SCs came with the filter in the car. do a search for cabin filter and there's a topic with the part number and also has the link for installation.

it's like the pull-down cupholder, they made a place for it but didn't put one in...if i remember correctly they start putting them in with the 96...and just get them at the dealer, around 30 bucks which is not that bad

and if you didn't have the filters, stick a vaccum hose up there

mines a 96 and it was empty, so I'll assume it didnt come with a filter. and as for those tricky directions I was looking for...found em. right in the box I've had all weekend. yep, nice, clearly illustated, english directions. guess I should have looked at the "paperwork" in the box.

I have a 97...mine doesn't have one, but then I never run AC...so meh? haha =)

try turning the heat on full blast for about 10 minutes to kill the bacteria. After that, air out the car and then see if it gets any better.
