Does Anyone Know Where To Go For Paint Jobs?
I'm looking to paint my 92 SC300 but i want to find a cheap-priced good quality paint. I DO NOT want to go to Maaco to get it done as I have heard so many things wrong with maaco jobs. Can you guys help me find a place to do it without it costing a fortune?
Thank you,
Chris

chris - try M1 autobody in El Monte, they did my car.
now its a bit more than MAACO, etc or similar place, but believe me, you will NOT like your car with a cheap orange peel paint job.
but boy you will like the results of a new paint job done right.

Let me elaborate on this. Whats the lowest price, High Quality Paint job I can get at a professional paint service place? NOT Maaco. I know Driven Concepts has a $1500 base price for the entire car. I'm trying to look for a little less perhaps maybe $1,000?

I understand Foozemore, and Thank you. I'm one to know also why things should be done the right way, the first time. I'm located in Port Richey, FL 34668. I'm willing to travel 50 miles out for it too if it takes that. Thanks sc350tt.

I'm sure you know a cheap price goes hand in hand with cheap or so-so quality. A high quality paint job normally means the removal of everything from headlights to mouldings to tailights and everything that may be removed to make sure you get every inch of he car, and great prep work. That alone would cost quite a bit of money. Not including the price of quality paint like PPG, House of Color, and so on. A thousand dollars, would probably get you a good paint job for now, but when time and weather is an issue I doubt it will last. Only my 2 cents.
