intermittent turn signal problem 93 sc400
yesterday while I was driving I noticed that my right turn signal indicator was blinking fast. I figured I had a bulb out. This morning I was working fine then it started acting up again. I checked to see which light was not blinking. It was the rear light, so I pulled the lens and checked all 3 bulbs and they were fine. Also my right front corner lamp is not lighting up and the bulb is fine
Any ideas?

check the wiring, make sure the connection into each socket is secure. Sometimes a loose wire will cause an intermittent problem, but when you hit a bump or something it will make the connection again and work properly...also check the bottom of the sockets (take the bulb out and look into the socket) and make sure that the metal connectors are sitting high enough to make contact with the bottom of the bulb, sometimes if those connectors get pushed down you might lose the metal to metal contact between bulb and socket.

I had a problem like this with my 93 SC400 and I just replaced the bulb and it worked fine. Sometimes when the bulb gets old even thogh it's still working is not drawing enough current causing the blinker to work faster then normal, just as if you had a burned out bulb. Just a thought..good luck
