The Mazda RX-7 has won more IMSA races in its class than any other model of automobile, with its one hundredth victory on September 2, 1990. Following that, the RX-7 won its class in the IMSA 24 hours of Daytona race ten years in a row, starting in 1982. The RX7 won the IMSA Grand Touring Under Two Liter (GTU) championship each year from 1980 through 1987, inclusive.

Also, LeMans changed the rules the year after the 787B dominated the race. How fair is that? Most of the time, in certain IMSA races, if you have a heavily modified rotary, you are automatically disqualified... Thanks pistons!

Why aren't 3 rotors so abundant?

Why do most RX7's I see, smoke like Chernobyl?

Surgeon Generals Warning...Smoking, causes low birth weight.

Yes I agree that this has gone off topic due to some hippies that don't understand the way a rotary engine works. I appologize to everyone for this rant, and btw nero, I have answers for all those cute lil remarks you made..
