Interior Wood Trim Removal
I recently saw a post asking how to remove the wood trim pieces in the SC. Someone responded with a link to an older thread that didnt totally answer the question. I would like to remove the trim pieces in my '92 so that I may paint them black to continue my efforts for a cleand tan and black interior. If someone that has removed their trim pieces could give me a step by step for removal or each piece (dash and door panels both), I would greatly appreciate it. I obviously attempted a search before posting (I'm still pretty new but not that new) and didnt come up with what I needed. Any help is always appreciated. Even a link to a post that I may not have found would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Door panel.
To take off the door panel, there are totally 8 bolts, each 10mm.You can remove them with a 10mm socket or a phillips head screwdriver. There are two in the front door jamb, then there are 2 bigger ones under the armrest at the corners. There is one bolt behind the door handle, use a screwdriver to pop off the back panel behind the handle and you will see it. The last 3 are all along the bottom edge of the door. Take all of these off then slide a screwdriver carefully into one side to start prying the panel off. Once you can fit your hand in between, go along and carefully pull to release all the push clips that hold it in besides the screws.
Once the door panel is off, removing the trim pieces is easy. Directly behind the trim pieces are several wingnuts that hold the pieces there. Just take off all of these nuts and the trim pieces will fall out.

ACleanSC4 had made them on his own, complete custom work. Nobody makes a REAL 100% carbon fiber replacement, the best you can do for cheap is wrap them in REAL carbon fiber film.
