Default Electrical Problem

This is for the Electrical Experts in the forum..I have a small problem..I installed some different kind of taillaights in my 93 SC400..everything is working fine except for the turn-signal lights are coming on and off at a very fast rate..like there is a missing light..does anyone here know whether I should use a resistor or is there a heavy duty flasher unit I can use...?

Thanks for any HELP you can render..aftv

Which taillights did you install? You're best bet is to buy the correct wiring harness for the year of taillights you purchased.

did u buy new tail lights or did u buy new bulbs?
i had this problem when i installed LED signals in my head lights, anytime i signaled (except when i put my hazards on) they would blink fast, it is because you are changing the resistance on the circut, if u want it to work properly use regular bulbs (that is if u went to LEDs)
try and put ur hazards on, does it blink normally?

Yes..all my lights work just fine including hazards..the only problem is the fast blinking when I turn on the turn signal...i'm using 1157 na bulbs..but the new tails only have 4 bulbs in them..instead of the 6 in the stock tails on each side..

thanks

Well..I found the CUR for the problem..use a 6 ohm 50 watt LED Load Resistor on each turn-signal bulb..should work just fine after that..
