Default SC production numbers

** see Update 2 for link to all Lexus model spec's / info **

I'm trying to find all US SC production numbers, but have only been able to gather '92, '96, '98, '99 data. I got the '98 & '99 from Lexus press releases from www.lexus.com, and '92, '96 from Wards Automotive News, but can't find any others. I searched, but just do not see other years. Anyone have that info anywhere??

UPDATE: Lexus produced 34,059 SC 300's and 78,696 SC 400/430's between 1991 and 2001.

Pretty cool piece of info. You really did your homework this time. One thing I've been dieing to know is just how many Manual SC300s where ever produced??? That question boggles the mind. How many in 1993 or just how many overall?

Yeah, I would love to see color breakdowns, too. I'd think they must be out there somewhere.

There are definitely 4 digits in those numbers.

In '98, it looks like there were 1,243 400s made, and 1,766 300s made.

In '99, there appear to have been 826 400s made, and 1,731 300s.

Then again, that's kind of an odd, disorganised chart.

OK Gent's some clarification on the chart. I copy/pasted from Excel, so the columns got screwey...

there are 3 columns represented:
1. model 2. December month-end sales 3. total year-end sales

so for Dec-98 Year-End 1998
1.SC400 2. 69 3.1,243

thus in December 1998 there were sixty-nine SC400's sold and through the whole 1998 model year there were 1,243 SC400's sold.

Here's a link to one of the 'Press Releases' I copied from Lexus.com:
http://www.lexus.com/about/press_rel...e_01_06_a.html

Sorry for the confusion!!
