1998 SC400 Rear Seat Removal
Does anone have a procedure for securing the rear set back for a 1998 SC400. Top portion of seat rattles from not reconnecting after having work done. Any ideas...

I had rear shocks put on. The seat portion seems to be fine. The seat back is loose at the top and rattles... Where are the screws or bolts to the rear of the seat? It looks as though they should hook on to something.

Bottom part pops out, top part is held in by a couple bolts (3 if I remember) but also has tabs that need to locate, you might have one that's not seated. Remove the top part and apply pressure as you slide the seat down to locate it.

easiest way to remove the rear bottom seat is to stradle the drivetrain tunnel and put one hand under the center of each bucket (you'll feel where your hands are supposed to go) and pull up, it takes a little effort but you'll see the 3 bolts after you do.
