finishing touch......
ok guys, i finally took pics of the car with the complete 2jzgte swap.
im still looking for a place to mount the turbo timer and boost controller. right now it's temporary mounted on top of the steering column. the swap took about 1 1/2 months and the car runs real strong. tks for the install and fine tuning at R1 Motoring in monterey park. i am also running the greddy BCC so that i can boost a little more than 1bar. i know it's not real safe to go over one bar but it's always fun boosting more once in a while !!! hehhehe well, enjoy the pics guys. future plans are bigger brakes and probably add some vertex sides and rear to complete the exterior look.
[
(intercooler is hardly noticeable. note the sides of it are painted black, same as the intercooler piping)
(im runing a custom made 3inch downpipe which splits to 2 1/2 to the rear mufflers. i took out the stock resonators and i opted my stock 2nd catty to a magnaflow free-flow one.)
(my engine bay with TRD strut bar. tks to STEVE GANZ at carson toyota !! i also have carbon fiber spark plug cover for a nice look .)
(different angle, damn i gotta change that battery....)
(straight up.....)
(my interior. im planning to swap the stock steering wheel with 3-spoke. still looking for one.)
(final pic..my greddy boost gauge. i am waiting for my greddy EGT gauge and will install right next to it. for some reason this pic look real funny.........can you guys tell me why? hehhehe )

Is it me, or does that coil pack cover have no vents? If it has no vents, hurry up and get rid of it ASAP, as it will destroy the coilpacks. They re-disgned them a bunch of times for the supra guys because they kept cooking coil packs till they realised it needs vents, the factory one has vents as well.
