Does anyone know how to disconnect the SC300 DRLs? Pulling the DRL fuse (under hood) disables the high beams, not the DRLs.

I don't have the particular wiring diagram here, but there is an additional relay and resistor for the DRL circuitry. You will need to find that and disable from there, but still leave the "through" wiring for the normal high beam operation.

I have looked at the relays under the hood and near the interior fuse block, but can't locate any relays that are identified as DRL. The wiring info in the owners manual doesn't identify the relays, only fuses. Does anyone know whre I can obtain a wiring diagram or can anyone tell me which relay operates the DRLs?

Most DRL relays/circuits will have a pretty big resistor somewhere, usually ceramic. This is how the half power light is provided on the high beam bulb.

I'll try to find some more specific wiring though.

Ok the Lexus SC400 DRL circuit seems to be more complicated than most.

You will need to find the Headlight Control Integration Relay, which is in the relay panel in the drivers kick panel. It is centrally located on this relay panel, and has a connection plug with all the terminals in a row, 12 or 13 pins. You will need to basically ground pin 2, which is the parking brake input wire, which will make the DRL system think you are still parked. This should still allow normal operation of everything else.
