I really hope you realize it's the agressive wheel fitment that makes this car look so good and you ready to make your car fit some agressive wheels.

nitekids is right, most of these cars stand out to you guys becuase of the fittment of the wheels. this car especially. As long as you guys are getting wheels with offsets in the 40's, your not going to achieve this look. It takes some work to look like this- but if it were easy, everyone would do it.

do you know how much clearance there is between your wheel and strut housing?

i know there is at least two inches because when you run a 10" wide wheel with a 50mm offset, you are getting about 2 inches closer to the strut housing than you would be when running your stock wheels.

running a 10" wide wheel with a +22mm offset will surface your fender just as much as an 11.5" wide wheel with a +37 offset, but you will have less clearance between the wheel and suspension.

a 10" wide wheel with a +50mm offset (which some people are running) have almost the same suspension clearance as an 11.5" wide wheel with a +37 offset

Its not just the wheel fitment that makes this car look good. I mean just look at it..the pic isnt being taken from a dead stop in some neighborhood street. This car is Top Notch! Race ready not "FoSHo." Its screaming out, "im ready to kick your ***." I mean just look at it.
Take a good look at this beast:

and my personal favorite (my inspiration):

..and it keeps getting better:

This is a wind deflector to feed air over top of the light bar and reduce drag, and more importantly, prevent it from getting ripped off at high speeds. Saw some pics of some RX-7 police cars that were equipped with these as well and that was the explaination.

American police forces use a different approach to prevent their cars from going fast enough to rip off the light bars....
Donuts.

(Sorry to all of our Lexus driving law enforcement officers... that was just too good to pass up)

this is ki_soarer typing under matts screen name: i dont think the donuts are slowing them down... its the fact that they use fords instead of skylines and soarers!!

LOL... very true... maybe if the cops had such nice toys to play with over here then they'd be nicer to us when they pulled us over for those little "discussions".
