I owned a 1989 ford mustang 5.0 H.O. I did numerous modifications and I thought that the car had tremedous hoarsepower and handled like a true sports car. This christmas I decieded to purcahse a 1992 SC400 with 80k miles. Let me tell you the difference is NIGHT AND DAY. The SC400 even being and automatic would blow away my mustang. And these cars are not just for looks and power but you cant even tell the engine is on. I drove a new maxima, new camery, and new celica. This car with 80k is way better than any other car Ive driven. The down****s are so smooth that the acceleration is better than expected because you can hear anything. Maintence is not cheap but niether is the car. You have to think about it expensive car = expensice repair. However this car will hardly ever break down. You will never have to service this car except for oil changes if you have regular driving habits. This is not a FORD which is F= fix O= or R= repair D= daily. My mechanic said that he services LS400s and SC400s all with over 200k and still running better than new american cars. Like Lexus would say..... Your not buying a car your buying a love connection.
