Default snow driven SCs: Got any rust?

I've been looking for an SC for a few months now, and it seems like all my options are from snow states. Now I lived in Boston my whole life and I've seen rusty cars (and rusty SCs), and my big question is how does your SC stand up to the snow & salt?

I did a search, but couldn't find much in the way of results...

(I'm looking at a car in the south NJ/philly area)

I've had 2 SC's here in K.C., neither of them had a spec of rust on them. The first one came from Texas. . .so that surely helped. But my current SC is a Kansas City native, and it has no rust. Just find one that has a well-maintained body, and make sure to apply a good sealant before the winter months. Good luck on your search!

I purchased my car from Ohio and the previous owner told me he drove it all throughout the winter. This will be my second winter with the SC and the integrity of the body/chassis seems to be doing fine, I inspect often. There's no visible rust - minus my calipers and rotor hats (which I just painted). It all depends on how the owner treats the vehicle. I'm very **** about salt staying on the car for too long, so last winter I routinely washed the undercarriage in the touchless wash and waxed. This year, I'm using Klasse sealant to get me through the winter.

Slap me if I ever complain about living in Florida.

I hate rust.

The bodies of the SC are galvanised.

But I still have some rust near the front fender and rear wheel wells. I fix it and it lasts for about 2 years before it comes back.

We do get a lot of salt though.

my car was bought in NJ and raised in NJ all its life and now im in CAli. and my mechanic says its hard to get the rusty screws loose. ( i seen him taking off my endlinks from my sways and he had to torch it red hot to unscrew it off but the underbody is pretty good other than the bare metal showing (suspension and all) but no body rust at all.

My SC spent her first 106xxx miles up in PA, and it does not have a SPOT of rust ANYWHERE, I love it. I guess the previous owner garaged her?

Mine's been through 2 Minnesota winters with me (not sure how many with previous owner(s)). No rust yet. Just need to be sure to wax it before winter.

Mine was garaged in the winter because its a MN, WI area native and not a spec of rust on it. She'll be drivin in her first winter this year though :/
