1/8 drill hole for headlight condensation
Sorry for yet another condensation post, but...
I read in an old post to drill a 1/8 hole in the bottom corner of the headlights. It was said that would solve the problem and was even mentioned in a service bulletin. So...
Will this (simple fix) REALLY keep from condensation from forming inside the headlight? And how have your results been for those who tried it?

I would in no way recommend this mod because I had this done to my old SC, and for me it made the problem 100 times worse. Every time I would wash the car water would go through the little holes and make the whole thing even worse. I would not recommend this at all, if you have some time on your hands I would say you should try to fix the actual problem. Which means you have to take the headlight apart and reseal it and then you shouldn’t have any problems. And as long as the lights open you might as well just clean the lens and it will be as good as new.

I bought my sc like that and to this day my headlights still have condensation even though i sealed them. They are also very yellow....

drilling small holes in the bottom will help but it probably wont solve your issue 100% since your headlights have condensation becuase there is a small crack in the upper region of your head light where water is getting in. yes the condensation may dry up inside on nice days but once you wash your car or if it rains the condensation will return and you will have to wait for it to dry again. The little holes only help the condensation dry faster. To find the leak you should fill the head light up with water and you'll see where the leak is comming from. you can always super glue that spot and it'll probably solve your problem. But a better idea would be to open them up and clean them up then reseal them since they are most likely yellowing and dirty inside.
