No SC400's are stick from factory. The TT sc you are talking about is most likely a SC300 with a 2jz-gte w/6spd.

Yes, the black one you're referring to from LexusSC400.com is an SC300 5-speed with a GTE swap.

isn't the european edition of the SC400 a 2.5L TT? it may have been one of those that crossed over here...

i have earned the " Been there and done that award " on my sc300.....but over all it has 130k and drives great.....im still VERY happy i bought this car.....if taken good care of the car will last easily to 200-300k with usal replacments......parts will go bad but the car will keep on going...just take good care of it.....Jeff

I'm at 155K and still going strong. Still looking to eclipse 300K. I don't use it as a daily driver anymore so it
should last a bit longer, and take a bit longer to get to 300K

How are the other high milers doing??

im at 150k also, but I'm NA-T. I'll be satisfied with 200k

Default My replacement list

Since 55K

replaced:

NORMAL WEAR
1)Water pump
2)Timing Belt
3)Valve Adjustment and inspection
4)Radiator
5)Coolant bottle (leaking)

MY WEAR ON THE CAR
1)Batteries (3 times..don't worry..warrantied)
2)Wiper blades (wanted better ones)
3)Air filter(upgraded to RMM and then INJEN)
4)Wheels/brakes/lines(upgrade)
5)Leather(upgrade)
6)Torque converter(upgrade)
7)Stereo(upgrade)

I think I'll need a tranny replacement by 200K...

119k - Just replaced the radiator, had a tune-up done, and replaced the timing belt.. Also A/C freon ran out, and am having suspension bushings replaced..
