Question Lexus SC4 and Lincoln Mark VIII LSC...separated at birth?

For a split second, I thought the Lincoln Mark VIII parked across the street from my house was a SC400
that needed to go on the Atkins diet!
Anyone else see the similarities? Nothing is styled 'zactly like an SC of course, but are there
any other cars out there that resemble the SC more than the Lincoln Mark VIII ?

Default sometimes the front end of a Honda Del Sol

when looking at the rear view mirror, a Honda Del Sol's front end can sometimes make me think I'm looking at a SC...

the older Nissan 180's(89-90 I think) look like SC's from the back from far away at night....

Sometimes a Ford Escort will do that but the lights are closer together. At night the "sporty" Saturns give almost the same headlight pattern as an SC.

Yes, ford escort ZX2s, and honda del sols... I believe probes bear a slight resemblence. From the back at a glance, 89ish nissan 240SX and like 1990-93 integraa have a similar taillight arrangement. There are a few cars out there that have copied the SC... but A lincoln mark 7 is not one of them.

240SX would be my closest match. The Prelude has some SC cues also. If it weren't for those cheeseball wheels, that Lincoln MarkVIII would look a lot like the SC, but those wheels totally detract from it.

I agree with the 240SX. In fact, since I like coupes, I even visited a Nissan dealer and looked at one before deciding to buy an SC. Size wise, the SC is right in the middle between the SX and the Mark VIII:

SX: 177" length, 99.4" wheelbase

SC: 191.1" length, 105.9" wheelbase

VIII: 207" length, 113" wheelbase

A few people mistook my 97 240sx for a SC Coupe on more than one occasion, my 240 was debadged only thing on the back was the JDM Silvia emblem I had to go along with the Silvia motor I had.

I always thought the Solara was a rip-off of the SC, especially in profile.

The Mark VIII's are kind of like the sc in someways- they are highway cars like ours, have a V8, and you cant sleep on them, they have mustang GT engines and are very tunable!

Seperated at birth huh? That means the SC would be Arnold (Ahhnold) and the Lincoln would be Danny Devito.
