mustafa that's what they call the car color (they as the people/owner) from factory it's called silver spruce. unless i don't know the color of my own car. which could be very possible lol

Well, we're starting to get somewhere .

Good news is I'm waiting right now to hear back from Capital One on auto financing - might be getting a black 5-speed SC300 before the week is out!

BTW, typically the paint code for a car is on the VIN plate on the firewall - might be a different case with Lexus, however. Anyhow, that's the first place to look.

I also wonder if a lot of the colors were actually available, but were VERY rare, like special order deals. I'm sure there's lots of white and red cars out there (for example) - some colors typically sell better than others.

Anyhow, I'll keep working on this . Thanks for everyone's input!

fc3, as TGRich said, it's on the door. I can tell you every colour and paint code for every year, but that would be one hella long post....if there's one year you need to know or something like that then let me know.
