He modified and glassed in a triple pod seamlessly. Looks great. If we can become friends again i'm going to make a mold off it because my good friend runs an ABS vacuum mold shop. If i were to make and re-produce them, they would be in the $120+ range or so (replaces whole trim piece, not just a screw on holder).

I have a dual pod on my a-pillar. I took some random one and re-molded it to fit.

thats seems a bit high, but id wont matter since your not a vendor anyways.

Chino would need his cut, i would need my cut, the ABS molder would need his cut, and it would be a low quanity made item, not mass produced in china. All that = high cost

abs is used because it's strong and cheap though.

it's like a buck per square inch.
my buddy's a plastics major, so i give him my Mech Engineering crap, and he gives me the Plastics stuff

VJ,

A triple in the Lexus dark tan would be well worth the $120. Thats probably a $60 premium to a non-fitting black generic. Not likely you are going to buy an island off the proceeds, maybe if you're real lucky a few tanks of gas.

So you're not buddies anymore?

trying for the o.e. look .... but i REALLY like the paper floor mat external sunviser - LOL
hard to see hear, but there is 3 defi BF's & 1 AEM wideband in there (stealth)
