That is true depending on what the gauges are. Most of my gauges would be more for tuning. Even Boost is not really needed once your car is set up, you would look at it if you were loosing power. Would be nice to have oil pressure in eye sight. Really, the tach and speedo are the most important and they are right where they need to be.

Sorry, but I'm stealing this idea. PVC pipes FTW.

Steal away my friend. Glad you like it.
I'll post another pic as soon as my afr gauge gets here and I make 1 for it.

that PVC pipe trick looks pretty cool
don't really think the glove box is the best place for gauges, its bad enough they are far and to top it off they are not angled.

No offense, but sure looks clean, at the same time, dull. I guess I just like the jet cockpit kinda look... U know, gauges In Your Face kinda style...

Isn't it a pain to reach forward every time when you want to view different stat while driving?

Well since my original post was deleted for no reason...

here is what I am doing for gauges. Should be done with gauges mounted shortly. I am still finishing up some final things. I have Nordskog digital blue gauges going in to match my Lextech blue clusters.

Thank you

The reason being because there isn't much more room (I mean mm's) to do that. There is 4 52mm spaces. I did it that way so I could get more gauges. If wanted, we would do it with 3 and probably not be a problem, but then again, we run into spacing issues as it is a tight fit in the recessed area already.

What does that 4 guage pod bolt to? bolt holes that are already present in the chassis/roof, or just to an interior panel piece? I ask because I might be stripping my roof out of the SC, and wondered if it would bolt to the actual metal on the roof somewhere. Thanks
