Poll: Fog light colors... yellow or white?
Im getting a 97+ bumper using the H3 fog lights. I was wondering what everyone's opinion was on which color fog lights i should use. Should I go for the yellow color, or the white color? Right now I have some HID's that put out a pure white color if it helps any. Thanks in advance for any input.

because of the bulb type, I would go white..now if you could get a hang of this HID kit they make for rally motorcycles which is actually yellow (yes im talking yellow HIDs, not regular painted halogen) that would be great, but other than that, white..

White all the way... Just like in the house, I think yellow (incandescent) bulbs make everything look dull and sick. That's why I have 5100k compact fluorescents throughout the house.

Lex400sc posted a thread awhile back for Narva 85W yellow bulbs. I put a set on my car and I think they look great. As he stated, they look just as nice as the stock yellow fogs on the GS and IS. I also have a set of H3 superwhites that I can swap out in about 30 mins. But if you want the yellow look, head to suvlights.com and get a set of the narva bulbs. You wont be disappointed.

thanks for your replies everyone! since i have the older SC with the regular turn signals, should i just buy a separate H3 wiring harness to turn the lights on? Did a search with over 10 pages and couldn't find a solid way to convert the pre 95 turn signals to accomodate the H3 wattage.
doug, i found that thread today, but did you have any trouble with the high wattage? I'm afraid that it will melt something in the 97+ fogs.
anyone's help and input is GREATLY appreciated!

yeah, i too am concerned about melting some wires with using the 85w narva bulbs. the higher wattage bulbs for the low bulbs melted part of my harness. luckily i caught it before any bad permanent damage occurred.
I personally am running PIAA ion crystals, yellow on the ground but doesn't look too yellow when looking at the fogs directly. I'm probably going to use the Narvas when the PIAAs burn out. I use the yellow because in light snow, rain or fog I couldn't see anything because the superwhite bulbs reflected back light from each piece of moisture in the air. I definitely noticed an improvement when i moved to yellow bulbs. not to mention it looks like the GS and IS
