Default LActrical—SC300 alternator

has anyone had any experience with LActrical alternators on an SC300? i'm looking to put in a 100-amp one from eBay for $130 into my '97 SC300, body shop quoted me $385 for labor + new alternator for my dead one or $105 for labor if I bring in my own alternator.. that's $150 less for 20 more amps

Yes I got one awhile back for my old 93 worked fine. The job is fairly easy to do. Not worth paying that money, if you're decent with a ratchet set it'll take you an hour give or take 30mins.
