I just checked the VIN. That SC300 is in factory condition with the Ivory/Black color combo, MTM and 3K7 Shadow Rose Quartz paint. Definitely a rare find right there. MSRP on this SC was $47.587 back in 1997.
Do you have any more pictures of it?? I'm having a hard time getting my head around the color, is it basically a metallic grey with a purple sort of tint to it???
Also didn't know that black/tan was a factory option, first one I've ever seen. I thought they were all like my car, light tan seats, almost white carpet, brown floor mats and brown upper dash/steering wheel for contrast(which I like better anyways).
For what it is worth I paid 15k for my red one with 50k Miles and tan interior last spring although it came with about 6k in parts. They are not going to get cheaper and I suspect history might look back fondly to the SC especially considering their survival rates are low.
This SC is very tempting (I already have a 92 SC400), but I know it will still need all the common SC issues dealt with even though it only has 14k miles. If it was $10K, it would probably be parked in my garage already.

Like what sort of issues???? If its been garage kept(looks like it), all the rubber seals and vacuum lines should be good to go for many more years. Rubber parts on newer cars don't fall apart like they do on old cars, all the weatherstripping, seals, and rubber lines on my 1992 still look like new. Same thing with all the dash/gauge lights on my car, they all work like new as well. About the only issues you MIGHT have are control arm bushings drying out and squeaking/clunking, but I don't know if that's more of a miles thing or an age problem, as I do have that one job to do on my 1992(it has 95k on it), only time it does it is when its REAL COLD out.
About the only nit I have to pick on that car is the front license plate holder. Sucks that there are holes drilled in the virgin paint work, my 1992 came from a state requiring a front plate as well.
