Default LED rear running lights

Hiya.
I've had 2 sets of led lamps for the 4 rear running lamps. both have the same problem. if more than 1 is installed in place of the incandescent, the icon comes on the dash. is it possible that a single resistor, on any one of the lamps, will satisfy the circuit that reads the bulbs? i don't want to do 4 more resistors. or is there a known entity led bulb that will work. TIA!!

yeah, i thought about that. then i saw the video about how to remove it. i don't want to get that deep into this car. i think i will do resistors. the 4 i have installed already i epoxy puttied to the body of the car, below the lamp level. i'm thinking i can squeeze in 2 more on each side. might have to extend the wires tho to put them lower and still allow for access to the bulbs if needed. thanks for the thought tho!

that's way more work than taking the cluster apart lol. you can just put a piece of black tape over the light, it will involve taking the cluster out which is 4 screws and then taking the glass off which is like 6 screws. and that's it.

The downside of removing the cluster bulb is you don't get the warning when one of your lights is out.

Of course, I switched to '95-96 tails and have my cluster warning on all the time when the lights are on... I view at it as a quick reminder of whether I've got my lights on during the day.

i have the incandescents back in right now, so i have to open up the tails anyway to put some LED's back. will do when resistors arrive. not that much more work since i need to get in there anyway.

i'm not even going to try to open up the fronts. the lens's are way dirty. maybe if i get really bored and have nothing else to do one week!
