I just stumbled across this and wanted to share. I don't remember seeing this one before.
Interestingly, a very nice fly over shot of the center A/C vents is one of the hallmarks of this commercial. If only they knew how long the "perfection" of those vents would last in 1992
That's awesome, they managed to highlight the center vent and inner door handles in 20 seconds. Give them a full minute and I'm sure they could have covered the A/T shifter, rear seat belt surround, and front window trims.

LOL LOL LOL
They even went over the gauge cluster and all of the failing needles and backlighting.
Overall I like the way they filmed it. This style isn't done any longer. Undoubtedly way more than 30 seconds of material was filmed. Multiple longer versions will exist in Lexus' archives. I've just never seen this one before anywhere.
I do recall one fairly cool commercial for the first gen SCs that showed off the car being driven with a theme of a fighter jet on the road.... Have not seen a You Tube post for that one.....

None of these, right? Other than the commercial in the original post and these three there should be one more which was more of a teaser for the 1992 SC400 (titled "The New Lexus Coupe" I think) with lots of V8 noise, blowing wind and leaves.
By the way... the first two of these period SC300 commercials below feature the 5-speed manual transmission. Kind of funny considering the production numbers, low demand, low dealer inventory and probably in some cases special order status.
No, none of those are the one I remember..... Only saw it a few times but at that point we were already SC owners and it was cool to see a commercial on a car parked in the garage.....
