A couple of options

Nice, it's very 90's. Not in a bad way.
The paint and color look excellent. The wheels, however, make the car look like a donk. I'd definitely wouldnt go bigger then 18's and get correct tires for it. With the correct wheels and suspension adjustment, it would look sick

You get that '99 SC300 without flinching. All you'll want to do down the road is upgrade the body to a 97+ which will lead to another grand with paint. The parts will be newer as the vehicle isn't aged like the other options. Yes, 1999 was a long effing time ago and the plastic, rubber, and metal is deteriorating on our vehicles every minute. However, you'll find the 2JZ a very simple engine to work on (yes, I said it...shoot me). God forbid you have to handle a timing belt or starter replacement in the 1UZ. You would end up swapping engines or selling the car before handling either of those.
It's your money and decision, but from the questions you've been asking, the 300 is a better option for you.

The 98-00 also had an updated steering wheel, seats, and gated shifter. I believe the gauge cluster also got updated in 98.
Obviously if you want a completely different body kit, the 99 isn't going to be very valuable for you, except in the sense that you can sell the 97+ kit on it for a decent amount of money.
If you're looking for another motor swap, the 95 should be OBD-1 which is a considerably easier swap, the vvt-i 2j swap is a bit more involved so you're better off going with the 95 sc for the simplest swap.
It really just depends on how much you intend to replace, and how much work you're going to be doing.

From 97-00 the SC had updated it's front bumper, side skirts, door molding, rear bumper, and rear extensions. Some people prefer that look to the 92-96 style body.

here are a couple of pics the 99 sc300. the upholsterey is a bit tattered and the right rear quarter panel is either dented or scraped, i cant really tell but its not looking like its worth $5623. i chcked the sellers reviews and wasnt impressed. of 29 reviews only 11 were positive. that says a lot IMO
