ok so first for the folks with the oem wheels that are dirty as all get out on the inside and you cannot get the crrud off no matter how hard you try i have a solution..i build docks for a living and at the shop we have this stuff called EZ Brite. its an acid that cleans aluminum sorta like this http://www.nueratrailerparts.com/p-5...FdcYgQod22AEwA any way i took some home and this was the result

No matter what i did this crud wouldn't come off. The back wheels were 3 times worse unfortunately i didn't think to document this until after i had done them.

this stuff is acid so remember to wear gloves, eyepro, and a mask. trust me. this is the first pass. you wet the wheel apply the acid with a spray bottle, let sit and scrub with a grill scrubber..the inside of my wheels were very very cruddy so thats why the grill scrubber. I would just spray the fronts and wipe with a wet rag or get a tooth brush you dont wanna use the grill scrubber on the front. Oh and be sure to spray this crap off good. Sorry for my grammar and punctuation im trying to hurry this up before bed.

second pass. sorry i didnt get any pics of the stuff actually on the wheel. It bubbles and all that. if you get any in your eye flush it out immediately. It wont melt your skin but it will burn you and it will feel like it. i got a little drop on my arm and after a minute it was stinging..Thats about it for this notice you can actually see through the wheel now so to speak. there is a little dirt from where i touched it putting the rim on but they are clean as a whistle.

Ok next is the rear window thing that the speakers sit on. It can be a pain to take out if you've not gutted your interior before. First take out the rear seat there is a diy for this so if you don't know how use the search button. basically just act like your doing the 12V fuel mod and take the side panel off also. then take the trim off that is around the rear window. This has screws in it that are #3 Phillips. after that comes off you pop the middle speaker out and pop the little plastic tabs off the front. there are 2. Sorry for being so vague i'm rushing. Just take your time and dont force anything and you will be good. once its off unscrew your other speakers. you will need 3M adhesive spray a pair of scissors, some felt cloth from wally world or any fabric store. I didn't bother ripping the old fabric off i just sprayed it with the 3M , then spray your new fabric, let it get tacky and apply. This stuff is like contact cement so if you have 2 people its best. i got my GF to help me do this and she also helped me run the wires for my oem trunk with spoiler that i snagged for $50 on craigslist(same color as my SC).. anyway after that just cut all your holes and reassemble..it was getting dark so some pics are crappy ill add some in the AM so you can see it better. Again sorry if this makes no sense.:.
