IAC valve wiring connector
Hi all,
I am in need of some help. ON my 1993 SC 400 I was taking off my IAC valve when the connector pretty much crumbled in my hand. I managed to buy on EBAY a new connector with pigtails that are not color coded. Since I want to be exactly sure of the correct wiring of the connector, can someone please let me know exactly which wires go into which slots in the new 6 post connector? Perhaps someone has a picture of the wiring sequence...which would be very helpful. THANK YOU

I happen to have a broken one sitting right here... Looking at it from the back side where the wires plug in, with the tab at the top:
green/white - black/red - ?
green/yellow - black/red - green
I'm missing one where the ? is, so whatever your 6th one is goes there. Probably white/red (or yellow/red, hard to tell with fade and grime), since I have one of those sitting in the box of IAC stuff I disassembled for a spare connector.
I'm guessing one of those black/reds is pink, but they sure look identical.

I would really appreciate it and I can't thank you enough!

Funny, my color combination is somewhat different...On one side looking down at the plug where it fits into the socket and the tab to the right.....I have on the left side ...GREEN/Yellow stripe, Black/Red stripe, and Purple/red stripe. On the opposite side with the tab from the bottom to the top, I have Blue/yellow stripe, Black/Red stripe, and Yellow/red stripe.
That is the way I think it goes..but again my plug was so brittle it pretty much has deteriorated.

I don't think a blurry close-up picture will be any more clear (literally) than my above layout...
It's possible there are color variations by year and by LS/SC. My car is a '94 SC400 and I'm not sure what the random connector is from, so you may need to get specific info for the '93. One of my black/reds may well be purple/red, but I couldn't see any difference in darkness between the two. The discrepancy appears to be blue/yellow vs green, plus the placement of each wire.
