Bright Leather colors for reupholstery?
I'm planning on reupholstering my seats and some panels this year. I want a really bright color like the Laguna Seca or Coral/Imola Red found on BMW M3's. After some research, it seems the only way to get these kinds of colors is bye dyeing the leather. I've looked through sites like Leatherique that do custom cors/matches but they all want samples lol. Is it possible to get dye somewhere simply by color code? Or is there a place that supplies leather in these kinds of bright colors?

Search craigslist for a leather couch in the color you want, then dissect it for more leather panels than you'll know what to do with! People basically give away furniture, since it takes up too much space once they have something new. I reupholstered my driver's seat that way, using a super supple white leather couch I was getting rid of. Great leather, terrible structural comfort.

+1 on leatherseats.com they make great kits and have good instructions.
I've put a lot of thought into this since I always wanted to do this. Here are my thoughts:
I pretty much settled for a two tone interior, black and saddle leather. Rather than try to color match parts, I figured I would convert the entire interior to black and buy the saddle leather skins. You can keep the front seat backings black-the black goes real well with the different leather colors. You can check out the saddle SC430 and GS300. The kit should also come with a matching center arm rest. Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes
