Where can I get the color code for my engine bay paint, is it the same exact color code as the car just without clear coat? or is it a different color? its not plain white or black so I wanted to match it any advice appreciated thanks

Should just be the base color without clearcoat, correct.

Is their really that much of a difference without the clear? Even my friend has a gold one and it is flat gold in the engine bay but the color looks like gold pearl or something maybe it is just the massive clear coat on their, thanks for the response!

clear coat makes a huge difference, that's what gives the car it's shine and smoothness basically. the body color is different than the non exposed parts of the car and i'm not sure where that color code is. for example my 4k9 sandstone beige has a speckle to it, but inside the bay it's just a flat tan.

I'm guessing it's the same color, just without the extra coats containing the pearl/speckle/flake.

Engine bay paint and such is the same base color as the exterior of your car sans all the coats of clear. Go to your local auto paint store with your paint code and have them mix you some acrylic enamal paint and have them put it in a spray can. This will work well for touch up to your engine bay.
