So I've been trying to salvage some seats and to get to the bolts mounted to the car. I have to move the seat forward and back a little on the junkyard car. I read somewhere on this forum, that I can move the seat forward and back with the 10mm nut on the end of each seat rail.

The problem is, now the seats won't move when I apply power. Is there a certain alignment point for these seats?

I heard about that as well, but never was able to figure it out. I was able to remove both front seats out of a JY cSC with them at one point. Took twice as long, however.

Are you sure they worked prior to manually moving them? Sounds like you are trying to get the junkyard car seats to move, but maybe they didn't before?
