Question switched power staying alive on car

Am new to forum ,but not to the SC world. I just pick up a
97 sc300 with a gauge cluster problem. When u cut the car off
The gauge cluster comes back on everything lights back up on the cluster as if u were going to start the car back up...only the cluster lights up an it kills the battery. Anybody has any feedback on this problems it will b very great.. thanks n advanced

I'm changing the title of your thread because it is misleading. You don't have a gauge cluster problem. Your ACCY is staying alive on the car and it could be a number of things. We do not have enough information (or any) to go off of here. Many times aftermarket products such as radar detectors, amplifiers, and other add ons are added and the wires that are tied into the switched power can get pinched and ground out causing a fault. Provide more info about the cars state as far as any non stock items or other relevant info. What else stays on such as radio or other accessories......
