2015 Mustang wheels on 95 SC400?
I have a 1995 SC400 with the stock 16" chrome wheels, and I HATE them! I need new tires, and have decided to look into a set of used wheels+tires.
A friend is willing to sell me her 2015 Mustang ecoboost model wheels. They're 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 18x8", with a +48 offset, on 225/50/18 tires.
Is anyone able to confirm if these will fit? All the numbers seem to line up, and with the added width and slightly lower offset I calculated it at about .57" further outward, and only about .3" gain inward within the tire well. Will these rims clear my calipers? Do I have to worry about the center hub at all? Anything else I missed?
Here's a pic of the specific wheel type:

ps. I will be looking into non-Ford/mustang center caps

I haven't checked the tire size calculator, but I believe that's going to be a taller than stock tire if you don't switch to something lower profile. Think messed up speedo, odometer, and ABS.
I can't imagine you'll have any problem with the wheels fitting with stock calipers. Fender rub, though, who knows.
It's tough to find hub centering rings for Toyota-Ford center bores, if that matters to you. Just tighten the lugs down in a star pattern (like you're supposed to anyway) and you'll never have any issues, in my experience.
I've got '98 Mustang Cobra (17x8 +30) front wheels and replica '95 Mustang Cobra R (17x9 +24) rears, and I love them. Toyota makes some of the ugliest wheels across the board, IMO. The Cobra wheels fit and look like they were designed for the SC.

Thanks for the replies so far, guys.
According to the stickied wheel thread, the SC can fit something like 20x10 before fender mods are needed, so I think the 225's should be just fine. Along with that, an example shows someone with 18x8 and 245s up front with no fender mods. I think I should be cool with fitment there.
I did see more info and what I was reffering to in OP was the centric hub spacers. Glad I found the correct term lol... I did seem to have trouble finding any online going from the 60.1mm to 70.5mm that the Mustang wheels have. Wonder if they even exist lol.
But, as t2d2 stated it seems like it shouldn't be an issue if the wheels are installed correctly. I'll be having them balanced/installed at a shop anyway so I'll see if they have spacers.
I guess the primary concern is the caliper clearance... I know this is a tough one, and that they'll likely fit. But I'll be kicking myself if I buy them on faith then they don't fit. If anyone has measurements on how much beyond the hub the stock SC400 calipers extend/how much clearance they need that'd be great.

those ecoboost wheel will look nice with correct tire sizes. i would go 245/40 all around. depending on your ride height you might need spacers to make them more flush.

im running 225/40R19 in front and i tried 245/45R19 in the front and it didn't fit well, rubbed a ton. you will have a tough time clearing the front fender arches with tires that big. im running 245/45R19 in the back though and no problems.
oversized tires cause no problems with ABS, they will throw your speedo off though (i am using a GPS speedo so it doesnt matter for me)
it's not a great pic, but a good reference for larger than stock tires

...and this may be common knowledge to some, but using a 3/4" drill bit to open the lug holes very slightly allows you to use your original lug nuts. Size is perfect.
