Trying to get the best ride. Help me.
So i just recently bought a new 99 sc300 had a 93 prior but I'm really trying to find the best upgrades that would make for the best ride. Are supra sway bars better for the lexus? What types or specific tires are best as well as Coilovers/ Shocks? Stock height or lowered? LSD? If anyone has any answers or any knowledge of whats best please chime in.

CatManD3W is correct, keeping everything stock would provide the best ride quality.
Though my ideal SC would be on Supra 17's with BFGOODRICH G-FORCE COMP-2 A/S. That paired with Tokico HP Blue struts all around, and fresh control arm bushings(OEM or closest equivalent).

Those were just over 730 dollars shipped when I got them. They came out late last year, and are a lot cheaper than the other Flex models cause they are not rebuildable. The quality is top notch, and the ride is great.
From my perspective, the ride can be made equal if not better than stock because of the amount of adjustability and the fact the are street coilovers and not really meant for the track.
Right now I'm riding about 2.5" lower than stock, on 18' wheels, and the ride is excellent, with no bounciness, and just a tad firmer than stock.
Good luck with your search.

I loved my Supra Eibach springs and H&R struts but wasn't low enough for my taste. The car felt more sporty and I trusted it around curves. If you literally just want comfort, I would order all new OEM struts and springs and the biggest side walled tires you can fit. Super cushy.

I'm super happy with the "TRD" combo of bilstein and eibach off the the tt and TRD sways with tt control arms. It is in no way the "best" ride in terms of comfort. It is however a imo no compromise setup between handling and a semi firm ride quality. Coupled with a set of pilot supersports I can say it is no way plush but not a lumber wagon.
"The best ride" is so subjective but if by best you mean smooth and soft an update of original components is going to be the best bang for the buck.
